5km swimathon complete!

Saturday 18th April, I completed Swimathon as part of my training. In a time of 1hr48.22 this is a pb for me so was happy with this.
I learnt a valuable lesson that 3hrs is not long enough to digest a sausage, egg, bacon and tomato muffin. Will try just cereal at my next distance training session. The stomach pain was awful, it came on at around 2km and didn't ease until the last 800m.
Also my right wrist started to ache, towards the end, think I must check technique in case I am adding unnecessary pressure, I can not have that playing up.
Managed a reasonable training session the next day as well, without my wrist causing me much trouble. So I am sure as I increase training it will be fine.
Time to start organising important fundraising for the event!
